Meet Francis
I believe that good nutrition is a cornerstone of a good life – a life characterised by health and wellbeing, good relationship dynamics and the ability to take advantage of the opportunities on offer. The way in which we eat and what we eat is not the same for everyone and that nutritional guidance must be tailored to individuals. Eating habits are often tied to emotional and psychological triggers and habits. I am passionate in supporting people in making active health changes in a realistic and sustainable way.
I am a qualified clinical nutritionist with advanced diplomas in Clinical Nutrition and in Integrative Nutritional Therapeutics and an active member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). I follow a holistic approach to nutrition and wellbeing in support of living a good life. This approach is built on the belief that food is medicine and the body has an incredible ability to correct itself through shifts in diet and lifestyle with the support of supplements where necessary. My focus area is on women's health, including hormones, fertility, preconception, pregnancy and postnatal care; general health, weight concerns, skin health, stress and adrenal dysfunction. This extends to paediatric nutrition support for infants, toddlers and teens. I have a particular interest in the gut/brain connection, addressing digestive disorders as well as mood disorders including anxiety and depression.
I am determined to find the root cause and empower you to take charge of your health.

My Philosophy
As a nutritionist with a holistic approach, I believe in treating the whole person, rather than just addressing isolated symptoms, I look at all areas including physical, emotional, and mental well-being. I believe that true health and wellness can only be achieved when all aspects of a person's life are in balance.
My approach is gentle and personalized, recognizing that every individual is unique and requires an individualized treatment plan. I do not subscribe to a specific way of eating, as I believe that each person has different dietary needs and preferences that should be taken into account.
During consultations, I take the time to listen to my clients' concerns and ask questions to gain a thorough understanding of their lifestyle, habits, and health history. From there, I work with my clients to develop a customized plan that includes nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle changes that will help them achieve their goals.
In order to get to the root cause of any health issue, I often use functional medicine approaches, such as testing for food sensitivities, hormonal imbalances, and gut health as well as analysing pathology results.I believe in a collaborative approach to healthcare, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for my clients.
Overall, my goal is to empower my clients to take control of their health and well-being, and to provide them with the tools and support they need to achieve optimal health and vitality.
